This festival promises to be Japan’s biggest Philippines event of the year.

Back in action this year after a COVID-related hiatus, the Philippine Festival at Yoyogi Park serves as a celebration of the country’s rich culture. Held in conjunction with the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo, the event will include a variety of music and dance performances featuring domestic entertainers as well as those flown in from the Philippines, plus the promotion of Filipino products, services, and tourist hot spots. In addition, the festival will showcase Filipino cuisine, with a wide array of gastronomic delights on offer from all regions of the country.

Admission to the event itself is free of charge, but do bring yen if you plan on grabbing a bite to eat.

Given the large Filipino population in the Kanto area this is sure to be a popular event.
